Apex Stones [2022]

[with Andrea Veselá] To what extent is the potential threat an actual threat and thus a legitimised means of organising space and life? We are fascinated by a status quo of potential - which remains in the moment and is in the process of becoming. In the primitivity of the stone, and via the accessibility it catalyses, violence encircles - although as we hurled the stone aloft, it became clear once again how intrinsically our resources formed a determining relation to the trajectory of the stone; how much our environment influences the individual reaction to our sensory perceptions.
